CARLA Abellana intrigued netizens after she posted a photo of a mystery man with whom she appeared to be having an intimate dinner.
Abellana shared the unidentified man’s photo on her Instagram page on Friday, July 18. The image featured the guy holding the restaurant’s menu, sitting in front of her at what seemed to be a table for two with candlelight.
“Hi [smiling face rosy cheeks emoji],” the actress captioned the post. In the comments section, fellow celebrities left heart emojis and teased Abellana for what they called a “romance reveal.”
Actress Karel Marquez Santos wrote, “Revealed na.” Actress Kim Rodriguez and celebrity stylist Katrina Sieglinde left red hearts and heart-eyed emojis.
Netizens, on the other hand, expressed their curiosity about the photo being a “soft launch” relationship move from the actress.
“Soft launch na po ba? Deserve,” wrote one netizen, while another added, “Ms. Carla, I hope you finally have someone who truly sees your worth. You’re beautiful inside and out, and no one should ever take advantage of your incredible soul. Wishing you all the happiness you deserve.”
Abellana was previously married to actor Tom Rodriguez, who is now in a relationship with a non-showbiz partner with whom he shares one son.
Meanwhile, Abellana has been making headlines lately for using her platform to speak out about the “inconveniences” she has lately experienced with service providers including the water utility company PrimeWater, owned by the Villar group, and the telecommunications firm Converge ICT.
The actress also recently called out what she claimed is the “blatant corruption” in the property tax declaration process in the Philippines, after officials allegedly offered to lower the declared value of a property she was selling in exchange for a cut.
