ILOILO City – Charged with carnapping, a man was nabbed in Barangay Napnapan Sur, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The 21-year-old Rodney Cagud, who was listed as the No. 10 most wanted person in a police station in Albay province, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10 a.m. on Jan. 10, a police report showed.
The warrant was issued by Judge Mamerto Buban Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 18 in Tobaco City, Albay. No bail bond was recommended for Cagud’s temporary liberty.
According to the police, Cagud was also convicted for illegal possession of firearm he committed in Alimodian, Iloilo.
The suspect was now detained in the Alimodian municipal police station’s custodial facility./PN
