ILOILO City – A carpenter was found dead in their barracks in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.

Danilo Talamor was a 56-year-old resident of Barangay Napnapan Tigbauan, Iloilo. Colleague Marlo Echalar found him dead around 6:15 a.m. on April 6.

Talamor was already late for work that morning so Echalar checked him out in the barracks, according to Rene Sayo, human resource supervisor of MDC Corporation.

The carpenter’s body was already cold and stiff when found, Sayo told the police.

Talamor’s medical record showed he had hypertension.

There were no signs of foul play in the barracks, police said.

Talamor’s body was taken to the Gegato-Abecia funeral parlor in Barangay Balabago Jaro district./PN
