BACOLOD City – A carpenter was stabbed dead in Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. Police identified him as 31-year-old Eric Vega of Proper Barangay Maglahos in Vallehermoso, Negros Occidental.
The victim sustained a stab wound on the back and unconscious lying beside the road when found.
He was rushed to the San Carlos City Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead-on-arrival.”
It was unclear as of this writing who attacked Vega around 7 p.m. on Sept. 19. Investigation is ongoing.
