SENATOR RODOLFO T. GANZON FREEDOM PARK. In time for the 101st birth anniversary of the late former Ilonggo senator Rodolfo T. Ganzon, the Iloilo City Government officially inaugurates the newly-redeveloped Senator Rodolfo T. Ganzon Freedom Park in M.H. Del Pilar, Molo district, fronting the Iloilo City Community College. The park serves as a tribute to the late senator who is remembered by the Ilonggos as the "Stormy Petrel of the South", "Man of Destiny", "Champion of the Masses", and "Father of Free Education," among others.
