BACOLOD City – Policemen raided a house in Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
They found unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
Resident Raynor Canada, who owns the house, was taken to the municipal police station.
Armed with a search warrant, policemen of Cauayan confiscated from Canada a .38-revolver caliber revolver loaded with several live bullets around 7 a.m. on Sept. 19.
Judge Condrado Estreller Jr. of the Municipal Trial Court in Cauayan issued the warrant.
The suspect was detained and charged with for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
