BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in Barangay Zone 6, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Emmanuel Acita Sr., 30, faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, a police report showed.
Acita was caught on the strength of an arrest around 12 p.m. on June 15, it added.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Cadiz City dated June 20, 2016.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Cadiz City police station.
A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
