BACOLOD City – The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) here has limited its admission of non-coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases. Allocated beds for such patients are nearing full capacity.
The affected hospital departments are the Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology and Department of Pediatrics. They will cater to emergency cases only.
“The hospital has reached its maximum capacity for COVID-19 patients and Critical Care Unit beds,” a hospital advisory read.
On Monday, the Department of Health raised Negros Occidental’s COVID-19 alert level to No. 3 although its risk classification remains moderate.
Coronavirus cases hit 1,193 on Monday, the Provincial Incident Management Team reported.
On the other hand, Bacolod City remains a “high risk” area and is on alert level 3, as of Monday.
Bacolod City had 77 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, for a total of 1,117 active cases./PN
