BACOLOD City – A radio broadcaster accused of libel had been arrested.
Donal Nojas was having his program around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday when Regional Special Operations Group operatives picked him up and brought him to Police Station 1 for booking.
Nojas posted a P20,000 bail bond for two counts of libel.
Judge Nilo Sarsaba of the Regional Trial Court Branch 56 (Himamaylan City) issued the warrant dated Aug. 15, 2016.
Police said a certain Macoy Javelosa, former barangay captain of Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, filed the charge./PN
