BACOLOD City – A lifeless body of a woman had been fished out at the Bredco port.
The woman had wounds on the head and bruises on the body, said Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, chief of Police Station 2.
She was still unidentified as of this writing.
Wearing white pearl earrings, the woman was around 25 to 30 years old and about 5 feet tall, police said.
A scavenger found the body around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday and reported to Police Station 2.
The Philippine National Police Maritime Group was helping identify the woman.
Her body was taken to a funeral parlor in Barangay 2./PN
