BACOLOD City – Police Station 2 arrested six people in an illegal drug buy-bust operation in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2.
But officers missed their target, Marnel Montaño, 27, who fled when he sensed he was being entrapped.
Arrested around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday were dance instructor Ashley John De Oro, 20; Eric Talahuron, 20; Alfie Arceo, 35; Arman Donguines, 53; Dodong Pardillo, 28; and Hermoso Feria, 22.
Sixteen plastic packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized from the suspects, said Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, Police Station 2 chief.
All six were detained. Along with Montaño, they were charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
