BACOLOD City – A buy-bust operation in Barangay II-A, Manapla, Negros Occidental resulted in the arrest of a man whom the police described as the “top 2” suspected drug personality in the town.
The 33-year-old resident Simeon Libo-on was caught around 11:40 a.m. on Jan. 23, police said.
Prior to his apprehension, Libo-on allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
Libo-on was detained in the lockup cell of the Manapla municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
