ILOILO City – The Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) in Passi City ordered the arrest of a woman charged with four counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22 (bouncing checks law).
The police caught 54-year-old Erlinda Loja in Barangay Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo on Thursday. She was taken to the municipal police station.
Judge Jerry Marañon of MTCC-Passi City issued the warrant of arrest.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Loja was able to post bail.
Judge Marañon set the bail at P2,000 for each of the four counts of complaint filed against her./PN
