ILOILO City – In Barangay Magsaysay, La Paz district, a resident was apprehended and taken to the police station.
According to village watchman (barangay tanod) Steven Supresencia, the 33-year-old Reynante Guzman suddenly entered his house and slapped Ralph Escrupulo on the face.
Supresencia and Michael Gonzales tried to pacify the suspect but Guzman punched them.
Guzman was eventually subdued and arrested./PN
