ILOILO City – One person died and three were injured after two motorcycles collided in Barangay Caridad, Culasi, around 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12.
A female motorcycle driver was declared dead on arrival at the Culasi District Hospital after suffering injuries to her head and right leg.
Her two minor sons, aged 14 and 10, were taken to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital for treatment.
Captain Jomel Salarda, chief of Culasi Municipal Police Station, said the victims were trying to make a U-turn when they got hit by a speeding motorcycle driven by the 16-year-old lad.
The minor driver also sustained injuries and was given proper medical attention./PN
