ILOILO City – Already in the state of decomposition, a body was found in Barangay 41.
The body was identified as that of 81-year-old Amparo Leyte, who was reported missing on Dec. 24.
Amparo – resident of Barangay 27 – was discovered by her neighbor yesterday around 8:30 a.m. in a vacant lot owned by a real-state company.
According to officers of Police Station 3, the victim was suffering from Alzheimers disease and hypertension.
They have yet to rule foul play in Amparo’s death./PN
