BACOLOD City – In Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, a man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation.
He was the 37-year-old Ralph Anthony Montesclaros of Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, a police report showed.
Montesclaros was caught after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 in Barangay Bajumpandan, Dumaguete City around 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 28, the report further stated.
Recovered from Montesclaros’ possession were a sachet of shabu, a cellphone, an improvised tooter, and empty plastic sachets police believed to be used for repacking shabu.
Montesclaros was detained at the Dumaguete City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Article 2 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation was staged by the Dumaguete City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Senior Inspector Ian Paul Arapol./PN
