ILOILO City – For allegedly drinking alcoholic drinks despite the liquor ban being imposed in the whole province of Iloilo, a laborer was arrested in Barangay Tacbuyan, Estancia.
Thirty-seven-year-old Reynaldo Dela Cruz was taken to the Estancia police station on June 1 while his two drinking buddies managed to escape, police said.
Recovered from the area were four bottles of beer.
Dela Cruz would be charged with violating the ban on alcoholic beverage consumption while the province is under the modified general community quarantine./PN
