BACOLOD City – Another motorcycle crash killed a resident of Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.

Rey “Boy” Tayon was driving a motorcycle that hit another motorcycle in the village around 6 p.m. on Saturday. The 21-year-old was drunk at the time, according to the police’s traffic investigator.

Investigation into the crash continues as of this writing. Police refused to disclose the name of the other motorcycle’s driver.

Tayon died of head and body injuries, according to Chief Inspector Ruben Pajarito, municipal police head.

He was taken to the Lorenzo D. Zayco Memorial District Hospital and later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital. He was declared dead around 8:25 p.m. on the same day./PN
