BACOLOD City – In Barangay Ani-e, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation.
Chief Inspector John Joel Batusbatusan, municipal police chief, said they were the 61-year-old resident Nestor Dagooc and 31-year-old Pedro Pesanon of Barangay Minapasuk, Calatrava.
Police identified Dagooc as the No. 1 most wanted drug suspect in Calatrava. He and Pesanon we’re caught at around 12 p.m. on March 1.
Six sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from them, police said.
The suspects were detained at the Calatrava police station lockup facility.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
