BACOLOD City – A construction worker was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 23-year-old resident Gabriel Panes initially sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500, a police report showed.
Four more sachets valued at P27,200 were recovered during his apprehension around 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Panes was detained in the lockup facility of the Talisay City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
