BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Minapasok, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were seized from 34-year-old Demetrio Patatag, a police report showed.
Patatag – resident of Barangay Marcelo, Calatrava – was arrested after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the report added.
Aside from suspected shabu, a P4,640 cash was also confiscated.
Patatag was detained in the lockup cell of the Calatrava municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
