BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Jonobjonob, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
The 36-year-old Mario Rezaga, the No. 10 most wanted street-level drug suspect in the city, was caught after selling shabu to a poseur buyer for P300, a police report showed.
Rezaga was taken to the Escalante City police station around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 2.
When frisked, he yielded two more sachets of shabu valued at P1,000 and a cellphone, police said.
The operation was staged by the Escalante City police station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Rezaga was detained and faces charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
