ILOILO City – Two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Baranagay Acao, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
They were Richard Aquino, 39, of Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district and Manuel Cepeda, 60, of Barangay Balabago, Jaro district, a police report showed.
Prior to their arrest, the suspects allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer.
Five more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during their apprehension around 9:10 a.m. on Jan. 24.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Cabatuan police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
