BACOLOD City – A senior citizen from Barangay Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental was caught with a .9mm Armscor pistol and magazine loaded with eight bullets in Sitio Bombil.
Police Major Robert Indiape said 61-year-old Leonardo Nepalar failed to show pertinent documents so the latter was taken to the Calatrava police station.
Nepalar was subsequently charged with violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Nepalar was arrested on April around 11 a.m./PN
