BACOLOD City – A 40-year-old man allegedly robbed and killed two senior citizens in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Salcedo Lobaton of Bacolod City repeatedly stabbed 75-year-old Alfonso Morales and wife Susana Morales, 74, in Susana Inn, which the couple owned, a police report showed.
The couple’s daughter found their bodies around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday and reported to the police.
Escalante City police arrested Lobaton on Monday.
Police identified the suspect through the motorcycle and knife left at the crime scene.
Lobaton was detained at the Escalante City police station.
Police did not disclose the amount robbed from the couple./PN
