We’ve waited four years for the beloved tandem of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz to team up anew in the silver screen. They were last seen in the movie “It Takes a Man and A Woman” playing the characters of Miggy and Laida. Originally titled “Dear Future Husband, Finally Found Someone” is a story of a cutthroat and career driven over achiever and an honest, sincere and idealistic girl who believes in the power of love. So what happens when the two meet?
In the world of Public Relations the need to create a riveting story to sway the public in your clients favor is one of the reasons of their very existence.
Hired to gloss over the non-wedding incident between Aprylyn played by Sarah Geronimo and Randy (Enchong Dee), the mayor’s son, over the trending videos resulting from it, Raffy (John Lloyd Cruz), with a trainee in tow, finds himself trying to sway the public in favour of the mayor’s son who jilted Aprilyn on their wedding day. Over the course of Aprilyn and Raffy’s interactions, Raffy finds another side of the #chosbride and realized that the truth he hides from her will either make him lose or gain everything.
You’ll have to watch the rest of the movie to find out more of this that will make you laugh, kilig and cry and everything in between. John Lloyd’s presence in the screen is so electrifying and riveting. This is a movie where he smiles the most while Sarah has evolved more as an actress and she looks more carefree. The Sarah-John Lloyd team creates another magic with Finally Found Someone and will certainly make you “kilig” up until the end.
Directed by Theodore “Ted” Boborol of the box-office “Vince and Kath and James,” it will be released nationwide on July 26, 2017.
The big question is, will this movie create another trilogy like their 3 successful movies together?
