Fire leaves P100-K damage

BACOLOD City – Properties estimated to be worth P100,000 all went up in smoke after fire struck Barangay 35.

The blaze that broke out around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday gutted 10 houses and damaged four others. 

According to arson investigators, the fire originated from the house owned by Ruel Salili.

City fire marshall Chief Inspector Publio Plotena said that a male minor was playing a match which allegedly triggered the fire.

The Bureau of Fire Protection declared a “fire out” around 10:30 a.m. There was no reported casualty in the incident./PN
