ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Mablad, Barbaza, Antique was caught in possession of a firearm without license, a police report showed.
Rowed Ogatis, 30, was arrested in Barangay Palma, Barbaza and detained at the municipal police station at around 11:10 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the police, Palma barangay officials said Ogatis was being unruly while wielding a loaded .45 pistol.
Ogatis was facing charges for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
On the same day in Barangay Calanpag, Batad, Iloilo, a farmer was arrested for possession of ammunition.
Resident Ednor Completo, 29, was detained at the Batad police station.
Armed with a court warrant, police searched his house at around 7:30 a.m. and found two ammunition for a .45 pistol./PN
