BACOLOD City – Loose firearms were surrendered to the police in Negros Occidental.
On Sunday, the 36-year-old Agustin Senaban of Hacienda Santa Julia in Barangay Old Sagay, Sagay City surrendered his .38-caliber revolver with four live bullets to the police around 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the O Ledesma and Company, Inc. Security Force turned over two M16 rifles to the Regional Civil Security Group 6 – led by Senior Superintendent Jomil John Trio – and to the EB Magalona police station in Hacienda Teresa, Barangay Alicante, EB Magalona at around 2:30 p.m.
The Philippine National Police has been implementing Oplan Katok, which aims to recover loose firearms in the country./PN
