“Hindi sila nagpabaya ngayon kahit na nakaunang set ‘yung Marinerang Pilipina,” said Lifesavers head coach Sherwin Meneses. “Hindi kami nawalan ng kumpiyansa. ‘Yung attack namin medyo okay ngayon so naging maganda ‘yung panalo.”
Judith Abil was the lone bright spot for the still win-less Lady Skippers with double-double 12 points and 18 excellent digs, while Chiara Permentilla managed to put up just nine points.
Meanwhile, Aiko Urdas and Grethcel Soltones showed the way as the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters pounced on struggling Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors 20-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-18.
