ILOILO City – For possessing unlicensed firearms, a man was apprehended in Barangay San Geronimo, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
A .9mm pistol with two magazines and 19 live bullets were seized from resident 34-year-old Erwin Licera, a police report showed.
Armed with an arrest warrant, policemen of Baratoc Viejo staged Licera’s arrest around 12 p.m. yesterday.
The suspect was brought to the municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
