BACOLOD City – After an X-ray machine detected a firearm in his bag, a man was arrested at a port in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Sanar Villegas, 37, of Barangay Hilaitan, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Found inside his bag was a .45-caliber pistol loaded with eight live bullets, a police report showed.
