BACOLOD City – An illegal gambling suspect was arrested while a bettor escaped at the Libertad market in Barangay 40.
Police Station 6 caught the 35-year-old Tony Felix of Barangay Taculing on Monday. The bettor remains unidentified as of this writing.
Felix was collecting bets for the illegal numbers game jai-alai, a police report showed.
Six jai-alai tipsters, a ball pen, betting stubs, a carbon paper, and P85 bet money were recovered from Felix.
Felix was detained at the Police Station 6 lockup facility./PN
