BACOLOD City – Six persons, including three minors, were arrested for illegal possession of firearms and other deadly weapons.
The 21-year-old Remegio Costan Jr., 24-year-old Reymar Costan, 18-year-old Reymark Costan, and the three minors were caught around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Barangay Handumanan, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were four improvised firearms locally called sulpak, three pin guns, ammunition, and a fan knife, police said.
The three suspects were now under the custody of Police Station 10. The minors, on the other hand, were turned over to the city’s Department of Social Services and Development./PN
