AKLAN – A 53-year-old hairstylist was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation early Thursday morning, August 2, in Zone 7, Sitio Bolabog, Barangay Balabag, Malay town.
Acquilles Almontero, a resident of Iloilo City but temporarily residing in the said barangay, was caught after he handed a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P1,100.
Officers of the Malay Municipal Police Station seized a total of nine plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at approximately P20,400.
Almontero was detained at the Malay MPS and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
