ILOILO City – A 58-year-old rape suspect from Hamtic, Antique was arrested in Barangay Cagamutan, Leganes, Iloilo early morning yesterday.
Ronaldo Cahuyong hid in Leganes for 17 years after he was charged, a police report showed.
The rape incidents for which he was charged happened in Hamtic, police said.
Police officers served him an arrest warrant issued by Judge Felixberto Barte of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Hamtic.
A resident of Barangay Apdo, Hamtic, Cahuyong was taken to the Hamtic police station where he was detained after his arrest around 6 a.m./PN
