BACOLOD City – A “high-value” drug target was nabbed in a sting operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Suspected shabu valued at around P102,000 were seized from 36-year-old Marc Plary Bayonita of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office’s City Drug Enforcement Unit staged the entrapment that led to Bayonita’s arrest around 5 a.m. on Jan. 14.
The operation also led to the confiscation of P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
Bayonita was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 8. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
