BACOLOD City – A couple was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation on Bonifacio Street, Barangay 4, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 12 grams were recovered from live-in partners Gina Jamosin, 42, and Gilbert Dumapig, 51, a police report showed.
Prior to their apprehension on Jan. 12, Jamosin and Dumapig – residents of Barangay 5, Silay City – allegedly sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P3,000.
Two cellphones and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
The couple was detained at the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
