BACOLOD City – A 41-year-old man was found dead at a sugarcane plantation in Hacienda Rojas, Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Archie Aguirre of Barangay Camba-og, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental died of multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
His body was discovered by residents around 10:30 a.m. on May 18.
As of this writing, police have yet to ascertain the identity of the killer/s.
Recovered from the crime scene were eight empty bullet shells of a .22-caliber firearm, two fired bullet shells of an unidentified firearm, a cellular phone, a lighter, a piece of black bonnet, and a wallet containing a driver’s license and cash amounting to P1,260, a police report showed./PN
