ILOILO City – The barangay captain of Bolong Este, Santa Barbara, Iloilo got injured in a road mishap in her village.
Haydee Dela Cruz, 65, was brought to the nearby Western Visayas Sanitarium on May 19.
According to the police, the victim was crossing a street when a motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Rogelio Janaban of Barangay Bacan, Cabatauan, Iloilo hit her.
Janaban was detained at the Santa Barbara police station./PN
