ILOILO City – Police failed to arrest a suspect for illegal possession of unlicensed gun in Barangay Mapili, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Jose Arnel Daria was not inside his house when the San Enrique police served him a search warrant around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Despite this, the police went on with the search and found a .38-caliber revolver loaded with several live bullets and ammunition of a 12-gauge shotgun.
A charge for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, was filed against Daria./PN
