BACOLOD City – A hotel and restaurant management student of Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology (Nonescost) in Sagay City, Negros Occidental was comatose after a vehicular crash.

The 19-year-old Florence Mae Conde of Barangay Cervales, Escalante City, Negros Occidental was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in this capital city on Nov. 22, a police report showed.

Conde was on board a tricycle driven by the 53-year-old Reynaldo Arellano along with six others in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City when they crash against a motorcycle driven by Robert John Gella, 25, the report further stated.

Gella died on the spot while his back rider Kristine Cedenio, 29, was brought to a hospital in Sagay City where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”

Tricycle passengers Evey John Intes, 18, Joy Ann Baquillar, 19, and Roel Ehok Minque, 23 – all students of Nonescost – and  Gina Andales, 38, and her 11-year-old son Ryan and 6-year-old daughter Shiantal Mae were injured.

Physicians have already advised Conde’s parents of her condition./PN
