BACOLOD City – A 41-year-old man was arrested after firing a handgun in Sitio Pyongo, Barangay T-Beach, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.
Vicente Alejo of Barangay Tamao, Tayasan, Negros Oriental pulled the trigger of his .22 revolver during a heated argument with his wife around 9 p.m. on Dec. 13. But he did not aim the gun at her.
Concerned neighbors alerted the police and Alejo was arrested. He was detained at the Guihulngan City police station and his gun confiscated.
Alejo faces a charge for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
