BACOLOD City – For illegal possession of a deadly weapon, a man was arrested at the Libertad Public Market in Barangay 40.
He was the 46-year-old Ely Elera of Barangay Singcang-Airport, a police report showed.
Police officers were patrolling the market when Elera was caught around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
Recovered from Elera’s possession was an icepick which measured nine inches long.
Elera was detained at the Police Station 8 lockup facility./PN
