BACOLOD City – A security guard was found dead at the Sagay Central, Inc. in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The body of the 60-year-old Crisostomo Villegas of Barangay Poblacion II, Sagay City was discovered at the tail end of the sugar mill’s cane carrier machine around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the report further showed.
The police believe that Villegas – who reports from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. – has fallen down the cane carrier machine while on duty.
Villegas was brought to the Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay City where attending physician Dr. Cyrille Andraneda pronounced him “dead on arrival.”/PN
