BACOLOD City – For alleged illegal cockfighting, four men were arrested in Barangay Tagukon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
They were Freddie Dacumos, 57; Raniel Delos Santos, 36; Fernando Morales, 49; and Rex Conde, 32, all residents of the city’s Barangay Camingawan.
The suspects were caught around 1:40 p.m. on May 29.
Recovered from them were 14 game fowls (six live and eight dead), three gaffs and P1,700 bet money.
Conde yielded a .45-caliber pistol, police said.
