BACOLOD City – The No. 2 most wanted person in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental was arrested in Manticao, Misamis Oriental.
Jose Benilla, 52, was charged with two counts of rape, a police report showed.
The suspect – resident of Barangay Amontay, Binalbagan – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5:41 p.m. on May 28.
Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 55 in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrant on Feb. 4, 2020.
Benilla was taken to Manticao police station and set to be transferred to Binalbagan.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
