ILOILO City – Accused of illegal gambling, a 40-year-old woman was arrested yesterday in Barangay Guadalupe, Janiuay, Iloilo.
Resident Ritchel Allado was detained at the Janiuay police station at around 12:30 p.m., a police report showed.
Police received a tip that Allado was soliciting and collecting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies” in the town.
Officers caught Allado “in the act” of receiving bet money from a resident, police said./PN
