BACOLOD City – Officers from Police Station 5 apprehended a man in Barangay Granada yesterday.
The 18-year-old James Alegre of Barangay Taculing was caught engaging in the illegal numbers game jai-alai, a police report showed.
Recovered from Alegre’s possession were a tally sheet, two tipsters with codename “Victory,” betting stubs, a ball pen, and P68 bet money, said the police.
Alegre was detained at the Police Station 5 custodial facility.
The arrest was led by Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana of the police station./PN
